A personal trainer in Los Angeles for people who are tired of starting over

I'm Onur Can. I've been a personal trainer for more than 10 years and have worked with over 160 clients. I train people one on one near The Grove, and I also train clients at home if they live nearby.

Who this is for

Most of my clients are busy men in their 30s to 50s. Some run companies. Others put in long days in film or medicine. They're great at their jobs. Their health is what slipped.

A lot of them have tried this before. Xander worked with seven trainers in seven years before we met. Justin spent almost ten years in gyms and classes in New York and LA. Both got some results and then got stuck.

If that sounds like you, effort usually isn't the problem. You need a plan that fits your real week and someone who notices when you start to slide.

What training with me looks like

Every session is just you and me. I watch your form on every rep. If you're sore, short on time, or the machine you need is taken, I change the plan on the spot.

Your program moves in phases, so your body always has a reason to keep changing. Between sessions, we keep track of your workouts and how you're eating and sleeping. You can text me any time, and I usually reply within a few hours.

What happens outside the gym

An hour with me won't fix a week of bad sleep and drive-through lunches. So I also coach your eating and sleep, and we talk about what's stressing you out.

Your eating plan is built around how you actually live. Several clients have said in their reviews that they kept carbs and still got results.

I can also walk you through your bloodwork and what it means for your training. I'm not a doctor, so this is coaching, not medical care. Lab fees are separate.

Where we train

Most sessions are at Transform Fitness, 8166 W 3rd St, Los Angeles, CA 90048. It's in Beverly Grove, on 3rd Street between The Grove and the Beverly Center.

Sessions run Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 6 PM. If you live nearby and the drive is what keeps you from training, I may be able to come to you. Read about in-home training.

How to get started

Your first in-person session is free. We'll train together and talk about where you are and where you want to be. Then you can decide if it's a fit. No pressure.

Programs start with a 3-month minimum. I keep my in-person roster small, with room for about 15 clients.

Common questions

How much does a personal trainer cost in Los Angeles?

It depends on how often we train. I go over pricing after your free first session, once I know what you need.

How many times a week should I train?

Most of my clients train with me 2 to 4 times a week. We pick what your schedule can really handle.

What if I travel a lot for work?

That's normal for my clients. When Justin was away on location for a month, I looked up the gym near his Airbnb and built his workouts around the equipment there.
