Why train at home
For a lot of my clients, the workout isn't the hard part. Getting there is. When traffic and meetings pile up, the gym trip is the first thing to get cut.
Training at home takes that away. You save the drive and get more privacy. On weekdays, we can start as early as 7 AM before your day takes over.
What you need at home
You'll need some equipment at home or a gym in your building. I don't bring equipment with me.
Some clients have a home gym. Others use the gym in their apartment building. Either way, I build your program around what's there.
Training in your apartment or condo gym
A lot of my clients train in the gym downstairs. I come to the building, work with the equipment that's already in the room, and build your program around it.
Most building gyms have more than people expect. A couple of dumbbells, a bench, and a cable machine or squat rack is enough for real strength work. When the room is thin, we use what's there and fill the gaps with bodyweight.
For busy people this is usually the easiest setup. No drive, no parking, no gym bag in the car. You take the elevator down, train, and go back up, which means a session fits in a gap between meetings.

The same coaching, at your place
You get the same coaching my gym clients get. I watch your form on every rep and change the plan when you're sore or tired. Between sessions, I coach your food and sleep.
Xander had worked with seven different trainers in seven years before we started. In his review, he said I was the first one who really knew both training and nutrition.
Results from the same coaching
These results came from training at the gym. Adam also trained with me at home during Covid. The coaching is the same wherever we train.

Where I travel
I come to clients from Hollywood west to Century City and Bel Air, and from the hills down to around The Grove. That includes Hollywood, the Hollywood Hills, West Hollywood, the Fairfax District, Beverly Grove, Beverly Hills, Century City, and Bel Air.
Sessions at your place have an extra travel charge.
Not sure if you're in range? Text me your neighborhood, and I'll let you know.
Rather use a gym? We can meet at Transform Fitness on West 3rd Street near The Grove. Read about personal training in Los Angeles.
What in-home training costs
People ask what an in-home personal trainer costs in Los Angeles, and the honest answer is: it depends on three things. How often we train, where you are, and what we're working with. Sessions at your place carry a travel charge on top of the training rate, and the charge depends on the drive.
I coach monthly, not by the single session, because a transformation doesn't happen one workout at a time. Most clients train with me two or three times a week, and programs start with a 3-month minimum.
I go over exact numbers after your free first session, once I've seen your space, your schedule, and what you're training for. That way the quote is real, not a range off a website.
“Yes, it is an expense but it's worth every single penny.”
